We learn a lot about ourself and grow skills when doing something for the fun of it. Camp or rent a cabin on Cavanaugh Bay in northern Idaho. Lovely setting with showers on the airstrip for campers. Seaplane instruction, ground, written exam study groups, and check ride. This is probably the most fun flight rating of all...and Amelia Earhart might say is for "The Fun of it." Available services: afternoon seminar, flight instruction, ground, exam prep, and check ride. WINGS approved for full flight review. Can't have too many of those!

This is an affordable and luxurious option located 6 miles N of Cascade (8 miles N of U70). Shuttles arranged. 12 beds, 5 bathrooms holds 16 guests. Surrounded by 100 private acres, this oasis offers beach, boat dock, wood fireplace, gourmet kitchen, fire pit, views of Lake Cascade and West Mountain, RV parking pad, lots of parking ,Wifi, washer/dryer, towels, beach towels, BBQ grill and more.
Float plane for event will be tied down here for flight instruction if offered.

IN NEGOTIATIONS: Here's a POSSIBLE affordable option, ladies. This cabin is more basic compared to the lakefront Airbnb option but is comfortable, convenient, and a good choice. It sleeps 13, has 2-baths, with WIFI, and only 1/3 mile walk to Cascade Lake, the Lakefront Bar and Grill, and golf course. It is walking distance to downtown Cascade and about 2.5-3 miles from U70. Shuttles arranged. Float plane instruction can also meet you at the lake 1/3 mile from this home with prior agreement from instructor.
ESTIMATED cost: $20/night/person with minimum stay 5 nights (double cost if you book entire queen room as individual, which is fine). Book room through Christina 208-315-3075.

This KOA K-1 cabin sleeps 4 (one full and two twins with 1/2 bath) and is right on the Yampa River. Enjoy the heated pool, mini golf and other activities at the campground. There is a free bus to Steamboat Springs, just 3 miles south. Shuttles to airport provided by WWaa. A true Western ranching town, Steamboat Springs charms with unique galleries and shows, dining and even a pioneer museum. $80/night (divided by those who stay). No kitchen in this cabin. There is a camp ground with hot showers at the airstrip or camp right under your wing. Both free. If you prefer lodging, there are a few Airbnb/VRBOs. located nearby. Find one closest to the 66S airstrip as soon as possible before booked out. There is a courtesy car at the airstrip, donation based, that can be used to run you out and to get you in the morning. You will be on time for all fight instruction and afternoon seminars!! Contact Christina for some Airbnb/VRBO leads. NOW is the time to register and book lodging other than camping.
